FUN AT THE NEW POOL!
The pool is now open through Labor Day. The pool has lifeguards, a water slide, drinks and snacks.
Hours: 1-6pm, 7 days a week.
Admission: $3.00
(children under 6: $1.00)
Location: Highway 161 at Crowders Mountain Rd.

Youth Basketball
Season begins first week of December.
Bessemer City Pre-School
The Recreation Department is still enrolling 3 - 4 year olds for the Preschool Program anyone interested should call Fran Goode at 704.833.0388 between 8:30am and noon. This pre-school program has been in Bessemer City for over 25 years and has served many outstanding citizens.

Senior Citizens Programs
Bingo and Dinner
This is the senior citizens program that includes dinner and bingo that takes place on the 3rd monday of every month. Cost is $3 per person includes meal and bingo activities. Attendence is limited to the first 100 people who purchase advanced tickets. Tickets may be purchased by calling recreation dept. 704-629-5111.

Bessemer City Community Building Rental
The community building is available for parties, reunions, meetings, and other gatherings.
2007 cost of building rentals:
City Residents: $60 plus $40 cleaning deposit
Non- Residents: $90 plus $60 cleaning deposit
Walkers Only
The Old Bessemer City Gym is open every weekday morning from 9am Noon.
All citizens are invited to walk in our newly renovated gymnasium.
