The Bessemer City Public Works Department will perform a clean-up of the two city-owned cemeteries during the week of February 22 – 26, 2021. All arrangements will be removed during this clean up, as well as any other ornamental type items placed on lots. Anyone wishing to retain any items should remove them prior to February 22nd.
If you have lots that need to be filled or have other concerns, please contact City Hall at 704-629-5542 prior to this clean up. The Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery and Vantine Memorial Cemetery will both be cleaned during this time.
