The City of Bessemer City, Gaston County, the Gaston County Economic Development Commission (EDC), State officials, and other regional partners are pleased to welcome the establishment of Dhollandia N.V. in Bessemer City! Dhollandia N.V. is a Belgium-based global company.
Dhollandia N.V. plans to invest $30,000,000 over a five (5) year period to construct an advance manufacturing facility in the South Ridge Business Park. This location will be the company’s North American corporate office.
The company plans to create at least two-hundred (200) new jobs beginning in 2018 through 2021. The average wage of $46,100 per year is higher than the county average, which is $38,438.
Bessemer City is extremely excited about this new project as Bessemer City continues to grow business, create new jobs, and better the quality of life for citizens.
Mayor Becky S. Smith said “I am especially glad that the South Ridge Business Park was chosen for the Dhollandia N.V.’s newest facility. Landing this project in Bessemer City shows that our small town can produce large outcomes with the partnership between the City, Gaston County EDC and all others involved.
