Our Objectives:
The Bessemer City Parks and Recreation Department will meet the needs of the residents of Bessemer City by:
- coordinating, encouraging and developing year-round programs, events and other recreational opportunities to all citizens of Bessemer City
- seeking and developing innovative partnerships with other recreation providers, local schools, and civic organizations that enhance the quality of life for all Gaston County
- encouraging and supporting volunteerism within the surrounding Community
