Where do I find schedules of athletic programs, team schedules, etc.?
Our team schedules are handed out to each participant before the start of each season. You may call the Parks and Recreation Department at 704-629-5111 for schedule information. Schedule information may also be posted on the Parks and Recreation Department page and social media pages.
Do I need a permit or application to use the tennis courts, picnic shelters, etc.?
No. Tennis courts and picnic shelters are available on a first come, first serve basis.
What are the hours of operation for the Community Center?
Community Building and Recreation Office Hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.
How do I register for Parks and Recreation classes and programs?
To register for classes and programs call the Parks and Recreation Office at 704-629-5111.
For Senior Activities and/or classes call 704.729.6465.

How do I rent out the Recreation facilities (Community Center/Pool)?
To rent the Community Building or Swimming Pool call 704-629-5111 or visit the Allan Farris Community Center. Applicants must complete an application, pay a deposit, and fulfill any additional requirements as outlined in the application.
