Bessemer City and Gaston County, North Carolina- Gaston County is investing over $13,000,000 in the design and installation of a new water line from Bessemer City to the Tryon Community. This new water line from Bessemer City will serve Tryon Elementary School, Tryon Park, Tryon Recycling Center, and customers along the route if they desire to connect. The project will start in 2025. The City of Bessemer City will own and maintain the line after the project is completed. The City of Bessemer City is very appreciative and thankful for this partnership project with Gaston County.
This project is funded by Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds as part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
