2026 Water & Sewer System Development Fee Study – Draft Report
Bessemer City has completed a draft Water and Sewer System Development Fee Study, prepared by an independent third-party engineering firm. This study is required under North Carolina General Statutes and is conducted to evaluate and establish appropriate system development fees for new construction connecting to the City’s water and sewer systems.
This is a standard and required process for all North Carolina water and sewer providers to ensure fees are calculated in a fair, consistent, and legally compliant manner.
