Fall Events and Road Closures
Bessemer City will host several community events throughout October and November. Residents and visitors are encouraged to review the event schedules and plan accordingly for temporary road closures and parking restrictions.

- Closed to traffic at 11:00 AM
- Parking areas cleared by 1:00 PM
Saturday, October 3
100 Block of West Virginia Avenue
- Closed to traffic at 7:00 AM
- Parking areas cleared by 9:00 AM
Bessemer City Trunk or Treat
Saturday, October 31
100 Block of West Virginia Avenue
- Closed to traffic at 7:30 AM
- Parking areas cleared by 9:30 AM
Veterans Car Show
Saturday, November 14
100 Block of West Pennsylvania Avenue
100 Block of South 12th Street
- Closed to traffic at 8:30 AM
- Parking areas cleared by 9:30 AM
Christmas in the City
Sunday, November 22
Road closures will include portions of:
- East Virginia Avenue
- West Virginia Avenue (Highway 274)
- South 12th Street
- North 12th Street
- North 14th Street
- North 8th Street
- Closed to traffic at 11:00 AM
- Parking areas cleared by 11:00 AM
Important: Vehicles may be towed prior to an event if they are not moved from designated closure and parking areas by the required time.
