BESSEMER CITY POLICE ARREST ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECT
Bessemer City, NC – (Wednesday, April 10, 2024) On Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at approximately 10:20 a.m., Detectives with the Bessemer City Police Department with the assistance of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Team (VCAT) arrested Shelby Maire Ziska, DOB: 12/19/1992, of Blacksburg SC.
Ziska was arrested on an outstanding warrant related to her involvement in an armed robbery case.
She was taken into custody without incident and has been charged with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon.
Zilska was transported to the Gaston County Jail and remains in custody without bond.
