BESSEMER CITY POLICE SEEK ASSISTANCE IN VEHICLE B&E SERIES
Bessemer City, NC – (Sunday, October 27, 2024) – The Bessemer City Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance following a series of vehicle break-ins that occurred overnight in the southwest area of Bessemer City. Between late night and 5 a.m., suspects in a dark blue or black 2007 Toyota Corolla (NC License Plate: KCD-8016) reportedly committed multiple vehicle break-ins in neighborhoods off Crowders Mountain Road. Surveillance footage shows the vehicle dropping off individuals who then proceeded to break into several cars, moving from vehicle to vehicle in search of valuables. Preliminary reports indicate that several individuals may have been involved. We’re grateful to community members who’ve already come forward with Ring camera and surveillance footage. However, additional information and video could help us identify those responsible. Bessemer City Police encourages anyone with footage or information about suspicious activity in this area to contact us immediately.
We would like to remind all community members to take precautionary steps to protect their property by securing vehicles and removing valuables before leaving their cars overnight.
