City of Bessemer City Delays Opening of Offices and Facilities on February 3, 2026
Bessemer City, NC — Because of inclement weather and unsafe road conditions, all City of Bessemer City offices and facilities will open on a delayed schedule Tuesday, February 3, 2026. Public access and reporting time for non-essential staff will begin at 11:00 a.m.
The City will provide additional updates as weather and road conditions change. Residents and businesses are encouraged to check the City’s winter weather webpage at www.bessemercity.com/winterweather for current information and safety updates.
City officials thank the community for its patience and cooperation while crews continue monitoring conditions, treating roadways, and focusing on public safety.
