Howard L. Jones
November 14, 1927 – April 20, 2024
With a heavy heart, the City of Bessemer City announces the passing of former long serving Council Member Howard Jones. Howard served more than 18 years on the Bessemer City Council and in many other community-based organizations and initiatives that bettered the City. Howard was whole-heartedly committed to the success of Bessemer City. Howard was always willing to help organizations in the community and loved Bessemer City.
Please continue to pray for Howard Jones’ family, friends, BC Staff and Council, and community members as we all mourn this incredible loss to our community. May we all remember Howard’s passion for Bessemer City and ‘take action’ approach on matters that improved Bessemer City.
