Remembering Randy Causby

The City of Bessemer City joins our community in remembering the life and service of Randy Causby, a longtime City employee and dedicated member of the Bessemer City community.

Randy served the City of Bessemer City for more than 22 years in the Public Works Department, from 1998 until his retirement in 2020. Throughout his years of service, Randy was known for his strong work ethic, dependable nature, and ability to get along with everyone. He took pride in his work and cared deeply about the community he served.

Randy’s impact on Bessemer City extended beyond the work he performed each day. Through his service, friendships, and commitment to helping others, he made a lasting difference in the lives of coworkers and members of the community.

The City of Bessemer City extends our heartfelt condolences to Randy’s family and friends. We ask our community to keep them in your thoughts and prayers as we remember and honor Randy’s many years of service and the positive legacy he leaves behind.
