The City of Bessemer City is launching a new opportunity for residents, business owners, and community members to connect directly with the City Manager in a relaxed, informal setting.

What’s Happening in BC is a walk-in conversation designed to make it easy to ask questions, share ideas, discuss concerns, or simply learn more about what is happening across Bessemer City.

There is no formal agenda, no presentation, and no appointment needed. Stop by, grab a cup of coffee, and join the conversation at any point during the hour.

Topics can range from upcoming projects and community events to growth, public services, downtown, infrastructure, or anything else you would like to discuss. If a question requires additional research or staff involvement, the City will follow up afterward.

The goal is simple: create another opportunity for open, approachable communication between the City and the community we serve. Let’s connect!
