The water tank project that was scheduled to begin on June 5th has been rescheduled for later in the year. Some of our customers were experiencing very low water pressure when we took the tank offline. These issues did not occur when we did a trial run about a month ago. The Bessemer City Water Department will be doing a routine maintenance project at our water storage tank starting on June 5th and ending around July 5th. During this time some customers may experience abnormal water pressure. In some areas the pressure could be lower and in some areas the pressure could be higher. If you have pressure issues or any other problem with your water service contact City Hall at 704-629-5542 during business hours or 704-866-3300 during nights and weekends.
